Risk Disclosures

Last updated 15 September 2026

This is a draft, pending legal review, published for transparency while PrimeEx is in development. It is not a final, binding document.

This is a draft, published for transparency while PrimeEx is in development.

1. PrimeEx is not yet publicly available

Everything on this page describes a product still being built. PrimeEx is not currently handling funds for members of the public, and nothing here should be read as an offer of a live financial service.

2. No deposit insurance or guarantee is claimed

PrimeEx does not currently claim any deposit insurance scheme, government guarantee, or capital protection for balances held in the product. This will be clarified with specifics, including whichever protections, if any, actually apply, before public launch.

3. Stablecoin balances carry their own risk

Where PrimeEx wallets hold a stablecoin balance (such as USDT or USDC), that balance's value depends on the issuer of that stablecoin maintaining its peg, it is not equivalent to a bank deposit, and PrimeEx does not control or guarantee the stablecoin issuer's reserves.

4. Verification and fraud

Identity verification (BVN, document, and liveness checks) reduces but does not eliminate the risk of fraud or account takeover. You're responsible for keeping your own login credentials secure.

5. Product availability

Features described elsewhere on this site as "planned" (see, for example, Business) are not currently available and may change before they launch. A feature described as available today has been built and tested end-to-end in a sandbox environment, it is not a production launch, and nothing on this site should be read as one.
